This is an exciting work. I was wondering whether your results about lacuna size and connectivity among the osteocytes can be reproduced in other models of metastasis, like intracardiac or, even better, fat pad injections of tumor cells. I believe those will resemble better the mechanism of metastasis compared to intratibial injections. Thank you!
